Jeremiah Mayowa

Jeremiah Mayowa is a Nigerian entrepreneur, fintech innovator, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jeroid LTD, one of Nigeria's leading cryptocurrency and gift card trading platforms. Since founding the company in 2017, he has led its transformation from a small over-the-counter crypto trading service into a trusted digital finance ecosystem serving over 500,000 users and facilitating more than US$1 billion in transaction volume.

A Mathematics graduate from the University of Lagos with a Master's degree in Blockchain and Fintech, Jeremiah combines analytical thinking and a passion for innovation to build financial solutions that make digital assets more accessible to Nigerians and Africans at large.

His entrepreneurial journey began in 2013 with the launch of Jeroid Reporters, a digital news platform. Recognising the challenges Nigerians faced when buying and selling cryptocurrencies, he established Jeroid with a simple mission: to make digital finance secure, seamless, and accessible for everyone.

Jeremiah has also championed financial literacy and grassroots Web3 adoption through Jeroid Angels, the company's community initiative focused on education, mentorship, and expanding access to digital finance across Africa. A passionate advocate for innovation and entrepreneurship, he frequently shares insights on fintech, leadership, and building sustainable businesses.
